Elsie Hawkins

Elsie Hawkins, 80 passed away Wednesday January 18, 2017 at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was born in Crawford County, Indiana on October 22, 1936 to the late Albert and Ella (Chance) Brown. Elsie married Sheldon Hawkins and worked as a Clerk at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Crawford County, as well as being an assistant at the City Planning Office at the Brazil City Hall. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. Elsie loved Elvis, enjoyed singing Karaoke, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Hawkins.

Daughters: Donna (Kevin) Stallcop, Brazil, Indiana

Robin Melton, Bedford, Indiana

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday January 20, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
