Virginia Price

Virginia A. Price, 86, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 5, 1930 to the late Carl and Mildred (Blackman) Kauffman. She graduated from Staunton High School in 1949, and later graduated from Indiana State University. She married Harry Price, Jr. in Rockville, who preceded her in death.

Virginia enjoyed knitting, but more than anything else she loved Jesus with her whole heart and that is the first thing she would tell you. She was always putting others first and glorifying God in doing so. She filled her families lives with lots of laughter.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Terre Haute, and attended Annunciation Catholic Church. She was always active in church, and often volunteered at the Crisis Pregnancy Center and the Food Pantry.

Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Price; son-in-law, Michael Burch, and grandson, Michael A. Burch, Jr.

Great-Grandchildren: Chaya, Kensley, Greyson, Harrison

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Ernie Rush officiating and burial to follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. A public visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cloverleaf Healthcare Activity Fund.
