Shelly Hoffman

Shelly Drew Hoffman, 62, passed away Friday January 6, 2017 at the I.U. Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born on September 16, 1954 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Carl and Ruth (Paris) Batchelor. Shelly attended Brazil High School, and worked as a waitress at many local restaurants and most recently as a house keeper at the Canyon Inn in Spencer.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, mushroom hunting, gambling, and spending time with family and friends. Shelly was preceded in death by her sisters, Rhonda Dickison, Tina Johnson, and Penny McCreery.

Nathan Hoffman, Greencastle, Indiana

Brother: Gary (Lisa) Batchelor, Versailles, Indiana

Sisters: Karla Hoskins, Silver Lake, Indiana

Angela Allen, Brazil, Indiana

Niece: Randi (Billy) Lady, Greencastle, Indiana

Grandchildren: John, Zach, Chloee Batchelor

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Moore Funeral Home in Brazil.
