I am just learning of the passing of your Mother. I am so sorry I was not able to attend the funeral. I loved Virginia and was privileged to have known her and be able to assist with her care in the past year. She surely earned her wings and I am positive she is sitting at the feet of Jesus even now loving on her best friend. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love you all.

Melinda, Mollie, Mae and Marsha- Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. It has been many years since I last saw her, but I have warm memories of going to your house on National Ave with my mom to see your mom, usually about having a cake made for a wedding being catered. Virginia created such beautiful cakes, but mostly I remember her for always smiling, and being so sweet. I'm glad to have those memories of her.

Marsha, Mae, Mindy and Mollie, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember the many conversations I had with Aunt Virginia about faith and the Love she had for our Lord. She was an amazing prayer warrior with a heart of gold and she taught me the power of prayer early on. It seems like yesterday she and I were praying in a hospital chapel together after Dad's first open heart surgery. Holding hands as she prayed, I felt God's presence and such peace.
